About

Harriet Poznansky b.1990, Kendal UK, is an international artists of Cornish, Polish Jewish decent based in London. Working in the field of conceptual figurative expanded painting, Poznansky’s mediums include painting, drawing, print, music, writing, performance and installation. Poznansky’s work is driven by a methodology of process and transdisciplinary research in the field of posthuman feminism. Through her multidisciplinary practice Poznansky walks the line between the personal and the political, the material and the subconscious, the self and the other.

Poznansky is currently artist in residence within the Environmental Intelligence Centre for Doctoral Studies at Exeter University, where Poznansky is exploring concepts of AI, environmental science and environmental data modelling through a material history of lace making, data processing and philosophical discussions around Derik Parfit’s concept of ‘future People’. The research continues to inform new work across Poznansky’s multidisciplinary practice and contributes towards research in the field transdisciplinary creative pedagogical methodologies between the arts, humanities and sciences.
